Zigor provides the solar inverters for the PV plant of IKEA - Valls (Tarragona)

On March 8, 2013 was officially connected to the network the photovoltaic plant IKEA-Valls, a project developed by Endesa Energy with the cooperation of Zigor Corporation. The 4MWp Central, is the first solar power plant of this kind of IKEA in Spain and is located on the roof of the facilities that the Swedish company has in Valls (Tarragona).

According to the agreement with Endesa Energy, Zigor Corporation has provided 24 Sunzet inverters of 166 MV, 72 Smart concentration Sunzet String Boxes and 1 Sunzet Meteo weather station, to be able to see in real time the current flow of each string of solar panels, the temperature of the park and the panels, all through the Plant Monitoring SCADA System SWS-1000 designed, manufactured and supplied by Zigor.

Zigor Corporation, a leader in the energy market, located in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Álava-Araba) also provide technical advice, has started up the inverters and the plant operating system.

The 4MW photovoltaic plant designed and built for generation, will allow the generation of clean energy to IKEA facilities and reduce CO2 emissions considerably.
